Against the Grain Brewery Finds Inspiration in Vertigo

Sara Atkeson, owner and operator of Against the Grain Brewery, brews up gluten-free beer for everyone who wants to enjoy great brews in Portland, but who can't due to intolerance. She was interviewed recently on Savor PDX about her plans to open up a small distribution facility so that she can sell her beer. When asked about her inspiration, she mentioned Vertigo Brewing and our small-batch system.

You can download the entire podcast here or you can listen to the Vertigo mention in this excerpt.

We wish you the best of luck, Sara! Long live the small-batch system!

Vertigo Brewing Featured on KOIN 6's "Keep It Local"

KOIN 6's "Keep It Local" program featured a segment on the Holiday Ale Festival. Brewmaster Van Havig, of Rock Bottom Brewery, gives Mike Donahue and Araksya Karapetyan a sampling of six beers from this year's festival.

Vertigo Brewing's own Arctic Blast was one of the featured brews, getting a glowing recommendation from Mike Donahue: "I like the one that has the Madagascar Vanilla Bean in it." Araksya agrees, "It's good!"  We're glad you like it! We hope you all come down to the Festival and enjoy another round.
